Mark Thomas is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director and serves as a member of the management committee. As Chief Investment Officer, Mark leads Greycourt’s investment committee to determine the firm’s capital markets views and overall investment philosophy and process. As a senior member of Greycourt’s manager research team he focuses on a variety of liquid and periodically-liquid investment strategies. Mark has over 20 years of expertise in analyzing and investing in hedge funds, commodities, and other investment strategies.

Prior to Greycourt, Mark spent the past several years as a senior member of CTC’s manager research group, including co-managing hedge fund research. Earlier in his career, he worked with PPM Energy focusing on deal structuring and asset valuation and, before that, with the market risk management group of Enron in Houston. He began his career as an energy industry consultant for Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
